Hellblade 2: A Disappointment for Console Gamers

The gaming world has recently been abuzz with discussions about Hellblade 2, which could prove to be a disappointment for console gamers. The game’s developer, Ninja Theory, has confirmed that Hellblade 2 will only run at 30 FPS (frames per second) on consoles. This means that PC gamers will be able to play the game at 60 FPS.

The first game in the Hellblade series was developed with the Unreal Engine 4 game engine and received high praise for its graphics. The game’s main character, Senua, has secured a special place in the hearts of players. However, the fact that the new game, Hellblade 2, will be developed with Unreal Engine 5 could affect the game’s performance.

The fact that Hellblade 2 will only deliver 30 FPS on consoles has also been confirmed by GamePro. This applies not only to the Xbox Series S, but also to the X. However, there is no such limitation in the PC version of Hellblade 2. This could mean that the experience of console gamers is being limited.

GamePro has stated that Hellblade 2 does not offer any graphics modes on the Xbox Series S and Series X. Therefore, it is not possible to increase the frame rate of 30 FPS on the console to 60. However, the VFX director has suggested that the game will offer a cinematic experience similar to 24 FPS films.

This has sparked debates in the gaming world. Some players have expressed their expectation of a smooth 60 FPS experience from a new generation game like Hellblade 2, which is an Xbox exclusive and did not release on the Xbox One series due to its robust hardware requirements. However, GamePro says the game is quite smooth.

In conclusion, the fact that the console version of Hellblade 2 is limited to 30 FPS could be a disappointment for some players. However, there is no such limitation in the PC version of the game. This situation can be evaluated more clearly after the game’s release.
