See moreNew S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 update brings countless improvements. 1800 changes!
When S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was released about a month ago, the technical state was the main subject of criticism. But developer GSC Game World reacted very quickly and promised to make extensive improvements; the first small patches at least ensured a more rounded gaming experience. Now the studio from Ukraine has released the first major update and it really deserves the name.
GSC Game World claims to have made an incredible 1800 changes and improvements to S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl, and according to the patch notes, a major focus is on the A-Life system. This primarily takes care of the behavior of NPCs in the game, even if they are not visible to the user. In general, a major focus of the fixes was on the AI side, including characters no longer walking through closed doors or getting stuck in certain animations.
The balancing, main and side missions and the interactions with objects should now be a much more well-rounded experience in S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The update also takes care of aspects of the user interface, the game settings and the display of your character's equipment. As you can see, it is really extensive and should represent a significant improvement to the game. And the title has earned it, after all, colleague Eike was quite impressed with the rest in his test.
