What Year PUBG Come Out?

Pubg game concept and design was made by Brendan Greene, who previously designed ARMA II DayZ: Battle Royale mode. While designing this mode, Greene was inspired by the Japanese movie Battle Royale, which was released in 2000.

Before starting any mods for Arma II: DayZ, Greene played the game for hours and did a technical analysis of the game. According to Greene, most multiplayer first-person shooter games that have been made before were based on repetitive maps and similar strategies. The players memorized the maps easily, noted the locations of the weapons in the back of their minds, and always used the same strategy. Greene, on the other hand, wanted to bring an additional mode to the DayZ mod to prevent this and developed a mode called DayZ : Battle Royale.

Although this developed mode was met with interesting comments at first, it became increasingly popular in later times and Arma II: DayZ mode was started to be played entirely with the Battle Royale add-on. Greene had previously thought of making the safe zone area in the game square, but had to use the circle because of his lack of coding knowledge.

DayZ : Battle Royale fan base expanded over time and Greene became known thanks to this mod he made. So much so that Sony hired him because he had to edit the same mod for Arma III. At the same time, Chang-han Kim, the manager of Ginno Games, a South Korean company, was in search of a new style of play and encountered DayZ: Battle Royale. Deciding that this was his new style of play, Kim invited Greene to South Korea and offered him the position of creative director. Greene accepted this offer blindly and went to South Korea. It appealed to him that he had left Sony Online and was going to release a new game under his own signature.

Continuing to manage a studio that has grown over time, Greene released the game on December 20, 2017, together with Chang-han Kim. The game has received more than expected attention. Despite increasing popularity day by day, Greene did not want to be content with a single game and withdrew from PUBG. He is still the consultant of the game, but does not deal with the technical details.

PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds game attracts the player base day by day and continues to inspire other games with the changing seasons and added innovations. PUBG, which has made one of its latest updates, has slightly changed the systems that have existed so far.

PUBG, which released a map and mode called TAEGO on July 7, 2021, went through two different changes in the game, which are called the indispensables of Battle Royale themed games. These;

  1. Be the last survivor.

  2. If you stay outside the battlefield, you will die.

With the TAEGO map and mod, these two features have been renewed;

1. Players again fight until the last person remains, but this time they do not expect death, even if they are stacked when they are hit. Instead, they use the Personal-OED device that comes with the TAEGO map. The OED is a device that you can use even if you are stacked, and it comes across as a kind of resurrection tool to get back into the war. This causes another change in the game. If all the people with OED devices in the game are killed, other players die directly before they stack up. Because it is known that they do not have a chance to be resurrected.

2. Another feature is the exit from the safe area. If our characters die because they are out of the safe area, not by another player, they are sent back to the arena of the players. He's trying to survive here. As soon as he manages to survive, he is sent back to the TAEGO map by helicopter and continues to fight from where he left off. However, this rule only applies to the first blue area. Once the first blue zone time expires, the chance to respawn also expires.

In addition, two new weapons and one vehicle were added to the game.

How to Play PUBG?

Playerunknown's Battlegrounds is a large-scale deathmatch Battle Royale game where players fight to be the last man standing. Up to one hundred players can participate in the games.

  • Players can choose to enter the match alone, in duos, or in a small team of up to four players. The last survivor or team wins the match.
  • Each match consists of approximately 8×8 kilometers, 6×6 kilometers, and 4×4 kilometers maps and starts with players parachuting from an airplane to one of four maps at the start of the game.
  • The plane's flight path on the map changes with each lap. Players must quickly determine the best time to jump out of the plane and parachute to the ground.
  • Players start the game without any equipment. After landing, players can search buildings, towns and other sites to find weapons, vehicles, armor and other gear. Killed players can also be looted to obtain their gear.
  • Every few minutes, the playable area of the map begins to shrink to a random location. Any player outside of the safe area takes damage gradually and if they don't enter the safe area in time, their character dies and they lose the game.
  • Once the game has started, a plane will occasionally fly over various parts of the playable map, dropping a loot pack containing unobtainable items within the map at random.
  • At the end of each round of the game, players earn in-game currency and levels based on their performance. Those who get the most kills in the game or survive at the end of the round will earn higher currency and level up more easily. Each level contains different types of missions and rewards.

Players can customize their characters with the rewards they receive. Other than that, in-game currency is used to purchase crates containing cosmetic items for customization.

What is the story behind PUBG?

Playerunknown's Battleground game has not had a specific subject since its release. But with its ever-changing maps and added innovations, the game has started to form its own universe.

As can be followed on their official site, the details of the general story are more or less clear.

It all started on PUBG's famous map Erangel. A child survived a civil war or similar conflict in 1968. But he lost his family as a result of the bombing of the island. This surviving boy becomes the owner of the island of Erangel when he is older and turns the island into a large arena. In one of the parts of the universal story, it is shown that this island was made this way on purpose and the child took revenge on everyone. But there is nothing proven.

Another video shows five or six people running the island. Each of them has a specific task. One is in charge of the equipment and the safe zone system on the island, while interviewing and sending the people to the island. The rest have roles as observers and watch the cameras in the area. The safe zone manager is inside the island and is killed in his hiding place by the group fighting on the island. Other employees try to flee because they fear the aforementioned person who is thought to be the owner of Erangel. Erangel's owner says he will go after the people who killed his man.

In another video, he tells how the people who are sent to the island are controlled through another story. A chip has been implanted in people's brains and they are followed by them. This is how people going to the island are tracked.

According to the documents published on the official site, the PUBG story will continue. Its producers also confirmed that its universal story has a basis and that everything will develop in very different ways.

What is PUBG UC?

PUBG UC is a currency used in the game. Players earn from this currency according to their performance in the games they win or participate in. Sometimes, when they level up, they are offered this currency as a reward within the PUBG system.

PUBG UC currency is used for some items in the game. UC is used to purchase cosmetic items such as players' outfits, skins, weapon skins, skins for planes they jumped on.

How to Get PUBG UC?

While PUBG UC currency can be purchased in-game, UC can be transferred to the game in other ways. Buying UC from other places instead of the game may be a more attractive option for the player. Because while UC prices often remain standard in the game, second or third-party vendors usually provide UC to players in a cheaper way.
